Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resource allocation. Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients. Manage high volumes of tax returns, working closely with partners who have significant books of business. Provide expert consulting services, including estate planning and advising clients on major life events such as business sales and acquisitions. Develop and maintain strong client relationships to build trust and ensure long-term partnerships. Guide and mentor team members, providing regular reviews, feedback, and coaching. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure timely completion and high-quality deliverables. Support clients throughout the tax process, addressing issues proactively and escalating complex matters when necessary. Stay current with tax law changes and provide expert consultation on multistate and international tax matters. Conduct research on tax topics to ensure informed and strategic recommendations. Prepare and review various tax returns, including: Form 1040 (Individual) Form 1065 (Partnership) Form 1120-S (S Corporation) Form 1120 (C Corporation) Qualifications & Skills
EA or CPA certification required. 5+ years of public accounting experience focused on tax. Knowledge of multistate and international tax regulations. Experience with Axcess or other CCH tax software (e.g., ProSystem). Proven ability to manage/mentor a team of tax professionals. Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client trust. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. A collaborative team player who can lead and motivate staff. Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with clients and internal teams. What We Offer
