As an Investigative Analyst (Criminal Analyst), at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties: Requirements
You must be a U.S. citizen to apply for this position. You must successfully pass a background investigation. You must successfully pass a drug screen. Males born after 12/31/59 must certify registration with Selective Service. Requirements by Closing Date: All requirements must be met by the closing date unless otherwise noted. Probationary Period: This is a full-time permanent position (Career/Career-Conditional appointment). A one-year probationary period may be required. Overtime work may be required to meet mission objectives. You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret/Top Secret/SCI clearance. Mobility: May be subject to reassignment geographically or organizationally. Travel may be required on occasions. Qualifications

One year of specialized experience at the GS-5 level or equivalent, performing duties such as researching, evaluating information, applying basic analytical techniques, operating computer software, and working as part of a team. OR
One year of graduate-level education from an accredited institution demonstrating the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. OR
A combination of education and experience that meets at least 100% of the requirements. OR
A Bachelor's Degree with Superior Academic Achievement, demonstrated by class standing, GPA (3.0 or higher out of 4.0, or 3.5 or higher), or membership in a recognized honor society. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date. Verification is required. Training
You will be required to complete the Homeland Security Investigations Criminal Analyst Training (HSICAT), hosted by HSI Office of Intelligence. Failure to complete this training will result in removal from the position. Additional Information
Experience includes paid and unpaid work, including volunteer work through programs like Peace Corps or AmeriCorps. Current or former political appointees must have OPM authorization for employment offers.
