Substation P&C Engineer (REMOTE)

Position Summary We are seeking a mid-level Substation Protection & Control (P&C) Engineer to support substation projects across the U.S. The role includes designing protection systems, producing engineering drawings and documentation, and supporting QA and commissioning.
Responsibilities
Develop one-line, relay/metering, and AC/DC schematic diagrams
Design protection relaying schemes for bus, transformer, and transmission systems
Create bill of materials and document field markups for as-builts
Review and QA all P&C documents
Assist in commissioning and relay settings analysis
Communicate effectively with clients, project engineers, and internal team members
Requirements
B.S. in Electrical Engineering
PE license required
5–8 years of substation protection and control design experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation
Experience with relay logic, QA reviews, and field commissioning
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $90,000 – $125,000 based on experience
