This role supports clients with various accounting and finance tasks. Job Responsibilities
Function in roles such as Controller, CFO, or Project Leader for clients Manage multiple client stakeholders effectively Prepare accounting reports Lead and participate in ad hoc projects Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings Perform due diligence procedures for clients Assist with SEC reporting Resolve complex accounting issues and implement new accounting standards like ASC606 and ASC842 Perform other duties as required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s preferred 10+ years of relevant experience Experience with public, private, or private equity companies Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or SAP Experience in professional services or public accounting preferred Advanced MS Excel skills preferred CPA certification preferred Additional Skills
Technical skills appropriate to experience level Professionalism under pressure Teamwork and communication skills Fast learner, ethical, and effective work ethic Ability to travel at least 50%, preferred Compensation
Hourly rates vary by location, e.g., California: $75.00 - $105.00/hr. Similar ranges apply in other states. About BDO
