This is a 100% onsite position from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Seatac, WA, with free parking. The Accounts Payable Analyst I role involves routine to moderately complex accounts payable activities supporting Alaska Air Group (AAG). As an individual contributor, this role focuses on vendor relations, research, resolving escalated payables, and other duties as assigned. It emphasizes positive vendor relations through timely, accurate, and complete communication. Collaborates with third-party vendors and internal teams on statement audits, researching payment anomalies, and coordinating compliant corrections with a keen eye for identifying root causes of exceptions. Provides exceptional customer service. Reviews and resolves PO match exceptions. Resolves exceptions for vendors and business to satisfactory completion. Responds to vendor and internal inquiries within SLA. Identifies and contributes to process improvement projects. Supports accounting specialists with questions. Skills
Accounts payable, Invoice processing, Invoicing, Accounting, Microsoft Excel, Payable, Reconciliation, Microsoft Office, Accounts payable/receivable, Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUPs. Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in Procure to Pay, focusing on Accounts Payable, accounting, or related areas. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of GAAP, SOX, and internal controls. Good judgment, attention to detail, analytical skills. Self-starter with ability to prioritize, work independently, and own tasks. Flexible schedule based on business needs. Strong organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Additional Information
