The Opportunity In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing on the Water Solution team. Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff in the regional design centers that are supporting project detailed design. Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations. Support business development related to enhanced Electrical services. Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers. Construction inspection and resolution of electrical construction issues. Coordination with local electrical utilities on project technical needs. Review of supplier submittals. Act as a liaison between the local design team, client and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design. Startup and testing of major electrical equipment. Continuous learning and development of technical expertise/specialty area.
This role will support projects for the
Chicago

Our hybrid work approach allows our employees to work from other locations outside of the office and be in the office the required number of days per week. The required number of days in the office varies by office location and is no more than 3 days per week.

In roles like Engineers, Technicians, and Skilled Specialists you will be engaged with exciting projects. The foundation of BV Operations provides the ability to move where your skills are needed and allows for a collaborative and innovative culture offering greater challenges and career development opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
PE License, Bachelor of Sciencein Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline. Ability to lead projects including management of project schedules, budgets, and staffing. Support business development, including developing scope-of-work, level-of-effort, and site visits to understand the scope of the pursuit. Strong leaderships skills, with desire to train and develop early career and/or inexperienced professionals.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 5 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Certifications Most positions - depending on the nature of work performed as defined by the division - will typically require incumbents to have professional registration or licensure in their designated home office country, or be in active pursuit* of such registration
