The System Support Specialist's primary responsibility will be the Quality Assurance and sign-off of guest operation applications. The successful candidate will review and analyze system specifications to understand software requirements. Develop and execute test cases, analyze test results, and validate the functionality of various IT projects, including software applications, systems, and infrastructure, to ensure they meet operational standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT testing, excellent analytical skills, and experience in a fast-paced environment. They will serve as a trusted advisor to the Senior Manager and peers regarding application performance. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering functionality, performance, security, and usability. Create test cases and scripts to validate software, perform manual and automated testing, including regression, system integration, and user acceptance testing. Ensure business-critical applications operate efficiently; partner with teams to plan, test, and implement solutions when issues arise. Manage test environments in collaboration with IT teams to support testing activities. Assist Sr. System Specialists in procuring and maintaining port equipment/assets, ensuring timely repairs and replacements, and coordinating asset movements. Qualifications
ISTQB certified; CAST certified; CompTIA Security+ 3+ years of experience in IT project testing Strong understanding of software development life cycles Knowledge of testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks Basic programming knowledge Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Azure, Bugzilla) Ability to develop, execute, and analyze test cases Excellent documentation and defect reporting skills Strong analytical skills and communication abilities Advanced testing certifications (CMST, CSQA) preferred Benefits
