Parent Peer Specialist . Under supervision of the Team Supervisor, the role involves working with the Parent Specialist to engage with parents, listen empathically, answer questions, coach, and support parent/child contact. The role includes engaging parents in GenerationPMTO, an evidence-based program proven to transform family lives, and providing ongoing parent support. Schedule:
Monday 11:00am to 7:00pm Tuesday 11:00am to 7:00pm Wednesday 9:00am to 5:00pm Thursday 11:00am to 7:00pm Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm Benefits and Perks:

Engage with parents to support family reunification Develop individualized family treatment plans with the team Organize and deliver GenerationPMTO, ensuring parent engagement and skill development Supervise and facilitate parent-child contact, including virtual and in-person visits Accurately complete reports and documentation as required Maintain professional, respectful, and ethical behavior towards clients, families, and colleagues Position Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred Participation in GenerationPMTO training and certification Experience with child welfare or parenting Ability to engage parents both virtually and in person Excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Office) Valid Illinois driver’s license and reliable transportation Valid IL liability insurance coverage We are an equal opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
