The Defense Threat Reduction Agency's (DTRA) mission is to safeguard the United States and its allies from global Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) threats by integrating, synchronizing, and providing expertise, technologies, and capabilities across all operating environments. The Nuclear Enterprise Directorate (NE) develops, improves, and promotes nuclear safety, security, accountability, control, reliability, emergency/disaster response and recovery, training, transportation, storage, infrastructure, related technologies, and research activities for U.S. and allied/partner forces, as well as U.S. Federal and allied/partner governmental organizations.

This position supports DTRA/NE and involves working on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects of programs, often independently. Responsibilities include creating, modifying, updating, and maintaining a website; fixing bugs; developing new features, tools, reports, and dashboards; integrating materials; monitoring logs; encrypting database content and securing connections; transitioning updates; performing SQL Server queries; and supporting System Administrators.

Required qualifications include a DOD SECRET (or TOP SECRET) security clearance, 10 years of relevant experience with a MA/MS degree or 15 years of experience with a BA/BS. Experience with "What’s New in This Release," Windows 10, and Microsoft Office is desired. Applicants should possess strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with technical and non-technical colleagues and must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

The position is located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
