Job Title: Systems Engineer
Join Peyton Resource Group as a Systems Engineer supporting complex defense systems. This full-time, mid-senior level role offers a competitive salary, approximately $155,000, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:
Apply systems engineering methodologies for development, verification, delivery, and operation of systems and subsystems. Manage requirements allocation, traceability, and verification throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee subsystem integration and lead system testing, including developing test plans with the Project Engineer. Support technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR) with documentation and presentations. Use Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools for requirements traceability and interface development. Conduct technical assessments and provide data-driven recommendations for system improvements. Develop and document Interface Control Documents (ICD). Drive design improvements to enhance system reliability, maintainability, and commonality. Manage verification and validation documentation to ensure compliance. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adhere to DoD regulations. Support engineering proposals aligning with business and customer needs. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems, or related Engineering fields. 5-10 years of experience in systems installation, integration, and testing within the defense industry. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance. Strong leadership, communication skills, and technical problem-solving abilities. Experience with systems engineering tools like Cameo, SysML, DOORS, MATLAB. Knowledge of RF systems, radar, antennas, and military standards is a plus. Willingness to travel 10-20% based on project needs. Additional Details:
