Salary:
$260,000 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Represent clients in complex antitrust litigation, including class actions, merger challenges, and competitor lawsuits. Advise on regulatory investigations by the FTC and DOJ, including handling merger reviews and conduct inquiries. Provide strategic counsel on antitrust compliance, risk assessment, and regulatory approvals. Draft and negotiate critical legal documents such as motions, memoranda, and settlement agreements. Develop and implement defense strategies in collaboration with clients for complex antitrust matters. Minimum Position Qualifications: JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record. Active Bar Admission in D.C. 3–6 years of substantive experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger clearance. Proven experience handling government investigations, including FTC and DOJ merger or conduct investigations, along with private antitrust litigation. A solid foundation in compliance and counseling related to antitrust issues. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a large law firm or government agency. Demonstrated ability to manage complex cases and work effectively with clients and team members. Adept at navigating high-pressure situations and tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring clear interactions with clients and colleagues. Skills: Exceptional analytical and legal research abilities. Excellent litigation and negotiation skills. Ability to synthesize complex legal materials and provide comprehensive, understandable counsel. Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior attorneys and staff.
