Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr Medical Mal-Practice Associate Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Mal-Practice Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and professional liability, with a focus on medical malpractice cases. This role requires a passion for advocating for clients while navigating complex litigation processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct legal research to support case strategies Participate in litigation processes, including discovery and trial preparation Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings and motions Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients Analyze medical records and evidence to build strong cases Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and options Collaborate with senior attorneys in case management and strategy development Stay updated on changes in medical malpractice laws and regulations
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) Licensed to practice in the state of IL 3+ years of experience in medical malpractice Strong skills in legal research and writing Experience in litigation and trial preparation Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to analyze complex medical records and evidence Familiarity with insurance defense and professional liability cases
