The position of Manager, Corporate Financial Reporting and Consolidations is a member of the Global Finance team. This role is essential for delivering BMS’s consolidated financial statements and involves working closely with various global finance teams and business process owners. It offers significant exposure to pharmaceutical industry accounting and reporting practices, and opportunities to enhance financial reporting, analysis, communication, and leadership skills in a global setting. Key Responsibilities: Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation processes. Coordinate with local markets, tax, treasury, CFP&A, and shared services to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and prepare commentary. Liaise with global business partners to ensure timely retrieval and evaluation of accounting reports. Work under tight financial reporting deadlines. Assist in reviewing earnings releases, investor materials, and 10Q/10K reports. Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Drive process improvement and automation initiatives. Support special projects, ad hoc analysis, and management requests. Requirements: 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a Big Four public accounting firm. Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting; CPA preferred. Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements. Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate large data sets. Experience in the Pharmaceutical/Life Science/Biotech industry is a plus. Strong collaborative and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of SAP is preferred.
