RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking a Technical Data Architect.
Summary:
The client is looking for a hands-on Technical Architect to lead the design and implementation of analytics solutions for our Outage Management initiatives. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, to develop end-to-end features within Tableau, integrating data from various sources such as Alteryx and AWS. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, particularly in Tableau, SQL, AWS, Python, and PySpark, and will be adept at translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Lead the design of analytics solutions for outage management, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with business objectives Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, discuss design considerations, and provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle Hands-On Development: Actively participate in the development process, stepping in to code or troubleshoot as needed to ensure timely delivery of features Data Integration: Collaborate with teams responsible for data sources, such as Alteryx and AWS, to ensure seamless integration and data flow into Tableau dashboards Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to the Tableau development team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement Quality Assurance: Ensure the reliability and accuracy of analytics solutions by implementing best practices in testing and validation
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Minimum of 8 years in software development, with at least 3 years in a technical architecture role Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, AWS, Python, and PySpark Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex outage data, including timing, customer notifications, and geographical impact Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Tableau Certified Professional are advantageous Additional Tools: Experience with Alteryx and NiFi is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
