Emerging Store Manager

Responsible for managing the front end of the store and making recommendations on the overall operations of the Pharmacy and Retail Store. Supports Store Manager with the overall operation of the store to achieve company deliverables; works alternate schedule with the Store Manager with minimal overlap; assumes responsibilities of all store activities in the absence of the Store Manager. Ensures proper merchandising, protection of store assets, and improves store sales and profitability. Leads and manages store team members, including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of direct reports to ensure teams are engaged and performing their responsibilities to achieve company deliverables. Customer Experience
Engages customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance. Resolves customer complaints promptly and answers questions to ensure a positive experience. Shares customer service best practices. Monitors customer service, provides coaching and training, and develops improvement plans for both front-end and pharmacy teams. Empowers team members to find impactful resolutions, exceeding customer expectations and building loyalty. Improves overall customer service metrics. Operations
Supervises store operations and team activities, including task delegation, shift management, and scheduling to ensure proper coverage. Collaborates with external partners to support community outreach and external partnerships. Supports data analysis and decision-making to monitor store impact. Manages cash operations, inventory, store maintenance, safety, and compliance with laws and policies. Business Performance Management
Analyzes financial and performance data; creates action plans for store improvement. Uses KPIs and operating statements to engage the team, identify sales opportunities, and implement growth initiatives. Supports pharmacy operations during busy periods, including serving as a pharmacy technician if needed. People & Performance Management
Leads and trains team members, providing coaching and support for career development. Manages performance through responsibilities, goal-setting, feedback, and recognition. Recruits and retains talent, manages staffing plans, and ensures diversity and pipeline development. Follows proper procedures for hiring, training, and record keeping. Training & Personal Development
Completes Store Manager development programs and ongoing training. Monitors personal performance and seeks feedback for self-improvement. Obtains and maintains required pharmacy technician license. Communications
Maintains open communication with team through meetings and discussions. Assists in planning and communicating store strategy. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, leadership skills, and flexibility in working hours. Willingness to accept promotion and relocation is also required. The role offers a salary range of $45,000 - $71,550, depending on various factors.
