***This position is contingent upon contract award and will be located onsite in either the southeast, southwest, or central United States. Travel will likely be required.***
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and approve personnel time sheets.
Review PTO changes prior to submitting to PMO for final approval.
Coordinate and initiate MASCAL exercises.
Provide chart review standards and processes prior to submitting to PMO.
Provide evacuation plans and procedures to personnel.
Provide expectations to staff along with performance evaluations.
Personnel accountability procedures and documentation.
Medevac procedures and protocols.
Serious incident reporting (determine who qualifies and who is notified).
Vehicle access requests and maintenance.
Facility environment care ensuring personnel keep med lab equipment operational at all times.
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, at the direction of the responsible CMO, may be required to hand carry meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks) for hospitalized patients from the dining facility.
All Healthcare Providers (HCPs) will document care delivered and follow-up care required.
Assist with managing day-to-day activities and prioritizing tasks.
Attend and participate in meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and stay informed about new developments, efforts, and policies.
Operate personal computer to access email, electronic calendars, and other basic office software.
Comply with all applicable Acuity standards and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Mid-Level Providers must hold and maintain a current unrestricted licensure as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner from any state during employment.
Hold current national certification such as NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC.
Have three to five years' experience as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner.
Two years' experience in a leadership role is preferred.
Maintain current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and CPR.
Recent completion of a TCCC course or similar advanced trauma course is highly desirable.
Experience in emergency medicine is highly desirable.
Participate in training, including HIPAA training.
Recent clinical experience in patient care for at least 6 months in the past year.
Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods.
Must be confirmed medically and dentally fit per Acuity guidelines and client requirements.
