Base pay range: $45.00/hr – $62.00/hr.
Posting date: 11/12/2025. Location: 1000 Trancas St, Napa, California, 94558-2906. The position requires work across multiple hospitals in the Napa & Vacaville, CA area.
Some Details About This Position
Prior dialysis experience is required.
Training may take place in a facility or a training facility other than your assigned home facility.
Potential to float to various facilities during and after training.
Flexible schedule; must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
What You Can Expect
Team support in a positive environment; Staff RNs are central to a small interdisciplinary team.
Deliver care to patients with multiple comorbidities and complex treatment plans.
Oversee patient groups with support of PCTs for observations, stat measurement, and machine set up.
Work in various hospital settings (ICU, CCU, ED, etc.) delivering acute dialysis (Hemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, CRRT, Apheresis).
Fast‑paced environment requiring use of broad nursing skills.
Schedule includes 3 day shifts per week (12‑hour shifts, rotated days), 1 on‑call shift per week (6 pm‑6 am if called in), and rotating weekends.
DaVita’s Inpatient Dialysis Program is Joint Commission Accredited.

Requirements
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school required; BSN or three‑year diploma may be substituted.
Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med‑Surg (helpful but not required).
Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) desirable.
Successful completion of a pre‑employment color‑blind test (accommodation may be provided).
Full vaccination against COVID‑19 required by hospitals in this program; booster may be required when eligible.
