Role Purpose

The Director of Infrastructure, Operations, and Security leads the technology foundation that powers the business overseeing multiple teams responsible for infrastructure, networking, DevSecOps, IT service operations, and cybersecurity. This role ensures all systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise goals, supporting both business operations and member-facing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & DevSecOps: Lead enterprise infrastructure, networking, and automation practices that improve reliability and deployment speed. Integrate security throughout the development and operations lifecycle (“secure by design”).

Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day technology operations, monitoring performance and ensuring SLA compliance. Mature ITSM processes for incident, problem, and change management.

Cybersecurity Leadership: Direct security programs, vulnerability management, IAM, and compliance frameworks. Establish proactive threat monitoring and response capabilities.

Strategic Alignment: Partner with IT peers and business leaders to ensure infrastructure, security, and operations support digital transformation and enterprise growth.

Vendor & Budget Oversight: Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and technology budgets, ensuring value optimization and alignment with architecture standards.

Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team across infrastructure, operations, and security disciplines, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Success Measures

Increased uptime, performance, and system reliability.

Improved deployment velocity and automation through DevSecOps.

Reduction in security incidents and vulnerabilities.

Consistent SLA achievement and improved end-user satisfaction.

Optimized vendor performance and technology spend.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of progressive IT leadership with responsibility for infrastructure, operations, and/or security in complex enterprise environments.

Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success leading cross-functional technical teams, managing vendors, and building collaborative relationships across business and technology functions.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of DevSecOps, automation pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC).

Proven experience with network architecture, virtualization, and cloud or hybrid environments.
