About the Role We are seeking an experienced

BI Developer

to support a large-scale analytics and reporting initiative. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable business intelligence solutions using

Microsoft Power BI

and

Microsoft Fabric .

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in data modeling, DAX, ETL, and cross-functional collaboration—able to translate complex business needs into actionable insights through elegant dashboards, governed datasets, and robust data pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain

Power BI datasets, dataflows, reports, and dashboards

within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

Develop and optimize

semantic data models

that ensure strong performance and support self-service analytics.

Create and manage

data pipelines

using Fabric Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, or other Fabric-native tools.

Partner with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements and deliver scalable BI solutions.

Apply best practices for

data governance, security (RLS/OLS), workspace management, and deployment lifecycle .

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness reviews.

Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL Server, Synapse, Dataverse, and Excel.

Collaborate with IT and architecture teams to optimize Fabric capacity and overall system performance.

Support business adoption of self‑service analytics by creating documentation, templates, and training materials.

Stay up to date on new Microsoft Fabric capabilities, Power BI enhancements, and BI industry trends.

Qualifications

5–8 years

of experience in BI development.

Strong expertise in

Power BI ,

DAX , and

data modeling .

Hands‑on experience with

Microsoft Fabric , including Data Factory, Dataflows, and workspace management.

Solid ETL/ELT development background.

Experience integrating data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Synapse, Dataverse, flat files, etc.).

Understanding of data governance, security, and analytics best practices.

Excellent communication skills and proven experience working directly with business stakeholders.

Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
