YOUR CANDIDATE JOURNEY Discover what to expect during your journey as a candidate with us.

You’ll define the architectures that connect missions, teams, and technology across the defense enterprise. This is a role for a systems thinker who thrives at the intersection of engineering, communication, and strategy— someone who can translate a mission challenge into a secure, executable design and see it through from concept to delivery.

You’ll partner with senior leaders to modernize mission systems, craft technical roadmaps, and guide multi-disciplinary teams through implementation. Your diagrams will become reality: integrated infrastructures, hardened enclaves, and repeatable design patterns that drive secure operations. You’ll lead technical solutioning for new engagements, articulate value in executive briefings, and mentor engineers building the next generation of resilient, interoperable systems.

When architecture and execution align, missions move faster, safer, and smarter - and you’ll be the one making that alignment happen.

What You’ll Work on

Architect and oversee enterprise and mission-system solutions spanning infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity domains

Lead stakeholder workshops, technical interchange meetings, and executive briefings that turn complex requirements into clear direction

Produce and maintain architecture artifacts, decision records, and integration plans that anchor delivery and compliance

Guide teams through modernization efforts, including Zero Trust adoption, cross-domain integration, and IL5/IL6 deployments

Shape technical solutions for new pursuits - writing proposal architectures, cost trade-offs, and implementation strategies

Coordinate delivery execution across engineers, developers, and subcontractors to ensure the architecture intent is realized

Embed security and compliance from the start using STIG, RMF, and NIST 800-53/171 frameworks

You Have

8+ years of experience leading or supporting enterprise or mission-system architecture within defense, intelligence, or federal programs

Experience creating solution architectures, roadmaps, and design documentation across multiple domains

Experience producing or governing architecture artifacts for reviews and audits

Experience leading stakeholder and executive engagements, driving consensus on technical direction and delivery priorities

Experience with program and delivery oversight, coordinating schedules, managing risk, and validating outcomes

Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks and their integration into enterprise design

Knowledge of infrastructure and networking integration, data flows, segmentation, and inter-system connectivity

Secret clearance

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems

IAT Level II CompTIA Security+ Certification

Nice If You Have

Experience leading solution capture or proposal development, including technical writing and cost-to-capability analysis

Experience developing enterprise modernization roadmaps, cloud migration strategies, or Zero Trust frameworks

Experience managing cross-functional delivery teams through design and implementation cycles

Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, or automation tooling

Ability to influence architecture and build stakeholder consensus

Possession of strong communication and negotiation skills

AWS Solutions Architect – Professional, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification
