Overview The Vice President, Partner Sales will lead a regional team of managers, provide global oversight, and drive enterprise market adoption of Alteryx solutions to achieve partner/company new bookings, enterprise new logo growth objectives, and renewals.
Job Description Reporting to the SVP, Global Technology and Innovation Partners, you will globally develop and drive the Alteryx Partner Ecosystem, create a Partner Program that meets and exceeds sales quota, manage revenue requirements for channel partners and the Partner Program P&L, enable ecosystem solutions to drive opportunity and revenue, and manage procurement contracts, proposals, and response management for Strategic Integrators and Alliances.
Responsibilities
Exceed quarterly and annual bookings quota, new logo objectives, and partner-connected sales targets, and achieve quarterly MBOs.
Drive a culture that balances partners, their end customers, and Alteryx Field Sales.
Provide strategic guidance and leadership to a team of Partner Managers while collaborating with Partner Programs, Partner Marketing, Partner Enablement, Global Solutions Architects, Systems Engineers, and Customer Support Managers in a fast‑paced, evolving, cross‑functional environment.
Assist in partner sales policy development; implement policies both externally with partners and internally with Field Sales colleagues.
Establish senior‑level contacts with priority partners, demonstrating strong sales and marketing skills to maximize partner‑Alteryx joint account mapping and increase deal registrations.
Strategize with Regional Sales Leadership on maximizing Partner‑Alteryx Field Sales teaming and oversee implementation regionally.
Serve as the primary liaison for assigned Field Sales Directors, instituting a routine cadence to monitor regional partner sales progress, resolve challenges, and manage escalations.
Model effectively articulating the business value of reselling Alteryx; ensure all direct reports understand and deliver this message.
Instill a disciplined cadence of partner pipeline reviews with Channel Managers and prioritized partners.
Interview, hire, train, and performance‑manage Partner Sales associates.
Guide the team to prioritize time and dollars; approve travel and expenses for optimal use of company funds.
Proactively seek improvement areas in Alteryx’s Partner Sales efforts, map action plans, and enlist others to achieve positive change.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 12+ years of proven success in partner sales.
5+ years of sales management experience in high‑tech, with depth in partner sales management across multiple channel types.
Proven track record of driving partner‑sales quota attainment across a team.
Skilled in departmental management, performance management, and negotiation.
Demonstrated success developing large global channel partners from the ground up.
Superb written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technology features into business benefits.
Polished presentation skills to audiences large and small; highly articulate ambassador for Alteryx Partner Sales.
Experience driving integrated solutions that bundle partner services to create joint offerings.
Ability to creatively coach employees on developing go‑to‑market plans to promote joint solution awareness among partner end‑user customer bases.
Talented cross‑functional collaborator able to develop trusted relationships and rapport.
Proficient in MS Office products and strong knowledge of Salesforce.com.
Able to travel as required.

Compensation Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
Salary range: USD $265,000–$315,000, plus commissions. Employees may also be eligible for a wide range of additional compensation.
