Compensation Range

$75,000 – $85,000 per year.

Position Summary

District Manager:

Manage multiple accounts in a territory, applying policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements. Capable of performing job assignments across the dining services spectrum.

Training & Development:

Lead staff to meet quality, inventory, food safety, and customer service standards. Conduct weekly tours with Account Managers to assess quality.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate financial, supply, food, personnel, and equipment records. Review reports, approve payroll items, and support open enrollment.

Communication:

Act as liaison among building managers, administrators, and HCSG leadership.

Safety:

Utilize protective gear, train staff on safe practices, and maintain cleanliness and compliance with universal precautions.

Punctuality:

Consistent attendance and timely arrival.

Customer & Resident Experience:

Represent HCSG courteously and cooperatively.

Travel:

Up to 75% travel for account visits and regional activities.

Qualifications

Positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.

Bachelor’s degree in management or related field preferred; high school diploma required.

Two years of experience in quantity food production/service and personnel supervision preferred.

Specialized training in dining services management and nutrition desirable.

Completion of sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance courses.

Leadership and team support skills in a diverse environment.

P&L and budgetary management experience.

Exceptional organizational and time‑management skills.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to submit a motor vehicle check.

Basic computer skills, including web‑based reporting.

Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies.

Physical capability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 50 lbs, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks continuously.

Comfort working around cleaning products and willingness to relocate to the assigned market.
