About the Role The Decorations Manager leads the culinary operation in frosting, inscribing, and decorating of delicious cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods. They are charged with ensuring the highest quality baked goods are decorated in a timely manner by means of training, supporting overall safety, and developing the culinary team through the specialization of decorations management.

Responsibilities

Lead the teams by motivating, training, and developing culinary team members in decorations skills; decorating, finishing, and inscribing on a variety of products including cakes, cupcakes, and frosted sugar cookies.

Assign daily decorations needs to team members and ensure their completion.

Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to all required food safety code standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Culinary, Baking or Pastry Arts preferred.

2 years of leadership experience in a team environment.

Ability to work in multiple regional locations.

Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs.

Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements

Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead.

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds.

Must be able to taste products for quality assurance.

Certifications

ServSafe Manager Food Handler Certification.
