Afterschool Counselor
Location: Hebrew Language Academy 2 (2286 Cropsey Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11214)
Start Date: Immediate
Compensation: $25 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3:30PM-5:30PM

What you’ll do
Lead and supervise students in a variety of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, homework assistance, and enrichment projects.
Design and implement age‑appropriate activities that foster creativity, teamwork, and learning.
Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all participants.
Monitor student behavior, provide guidance, and address any challenges with care and professionalism.
Work closely with other afterschool staff to ensure a cohesive and well‑organized program.
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, sharing updates on student participation and progress as needed.
Track attendance and maintain accurate records of student activities.
Follow school policies and procedures to ensure a secure and compliant program.
Who you are
High School Diploma from an accredited institution is required.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Legally authorized to work in the USA.
