The Senior Associate, Product Management & Sourcing will partner with the Design and Merchandising teams as well as sourcing offices, agents, and factories to ensure the raw material integrity of product from sample to bulk production. The ideal candidate is passionate about new ideas, works effectively with cross‑functional teams and thrives in a fast‑paced, constantly evolving setting.
Responsibilities
Drive end‑to‑end accountability for managed brands – setting vendors up for success for on‑time delivery.
Align stakeholders and set priorities for product changes, facilitating resolution of roadblocks.
Act as a key stakeholder in vendor allocation recommendations and oversight to align with sourcing goals.
Establish and develop all seasonal programs to move throughout the RL value chain.
Responsible for costing, quality, case‑pack confirmation, testing and alignment across cross‑functional teams.
Contribute to price negotiation for all launch and replenishment orders with vendors and cross‑functional teams.
Work in GFE+ to maintain updates related to projection attributes – costing, case‑pack, minimum order quantities, and vendor assignment.
Create seasonal operational tracker, T&A calendar for launch and special projects.
Build a business plan for onboarding new vendors, ensuring proper onboarding to move successfully through the RL supply chain (understanding of all testing, SCC guide, packaging requirements) and connecting the factory with the appropriate cross‑functional partners as needed.
Create kitting guides for the DC as needed, partnering with Production Operations.
Facilitate the achievement of all RL sustainability goals for the tabletop and gifts category.
Responsible for all in‑season product and packaging development for the tabletop and gifts category.
Set up PLM material.
Qualifications
Experience in product development in a manufacturing and sourcing environment.
Strong critical thinking – the ability to diagnose situations, suggest solutions, assess, evaluate, and determine a course of action.
Ability to effectively manage development/tracking charts.
Experience working directly with factories and suppliers.
Excellent organization, communication, and time‑management skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to form strong partnerships with different departments.
Salary range: $63,500 - $88,000 annually.
