FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

ESFM + We have an opening for a full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position. + Location: 3620 Reeves Ridge Drive, Charlotte, NC 28214. Note: online applications accepted only. + Schedule: Full time schedule. Monday through Friday, hours may vary; 1st shift. More details upon interview. + Requirement: 6 months of prior floor care experience is required. + Pay Range: $15.50 per hour to $16.50 per hour. Job Summary: Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions: Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning of large areas of floor surface. Uses the proper procedures on carpet and upholstery including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications: Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. Associates at ESFM are offered many fantastic benefits.
