Job Description We are seeking an experienced SAP Transport Management Consultant with both functional and technical expertise to lead and support transportation initiatives across the organization.
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
10+ years of experience
Proven experience with specialization in SAP logistics – Transport Management, configuration of Transport Management processes, organizational change management, and Production system support.
Proven track record of leading the setup of a perfect back‑office system for a transportation customer.
Solid understanding of time management and ability to multitask.
Excellent understanding of Supply Chain Management processes & modules, with a focus on transportation management.
Logistics experience, preferably within Transportation Planning and Execution.
SAP Transportation module experience and integration with other systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
Technical discussions with key stakeholders.
Interaction with Technical SMEs.
Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming.
Excellent troubleshooting skills, communication, and team leadership.
Provide SAP functional analysis, SAP Pricing support, and SAP solution architecture in the Pricing area.
Provide day‑to‑day support for SAP applications in the Pricing area by resolving change requests and incident tickets.
Discuss business requirements with Business Process Owners and Key Users and provide satisfying SAP system solutions aligned with SAP standard solutions.
Responsible for implementing procedures and standards to improve operational efficiency, monitor compliance, and mitigate risks to achieve team results.
Configuration and documentation of new designs.
Develop proof‑of‑concept business processes.
Support change and release management processes for SAP applications.
Support test processes and user training for SAP Pricing business processes.
Provide status updates to customers and TCS Management.
Coordinate offshore efforts.
Understand and apply Agile methodologies.
Education Graduation, MBA and Bachelor of Computer Science required.
Salary Range $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
