Job Description Managing Consultant (SAP Transport Management Consultant) located in Chicago, IL.
Roles & Responsibilities
Conduct technical discussions with key stakeholders.
Interact with Technical SMEs.
Provide SAP functional analysis and support in the Pricing area.
Deliver day‑to‑day support for SAP applications, resolving change requests and incident tickets.
Discuss business requirements with Business Process Owners and Key Users to adapt SAP system solutions.
Implement procedures and standards to improve operational efficiency, monitor compliance, and mitigate risks.
Configure and document new designs.
Develop proof‑of‑concept business processes.
Support change & release management processes for SAP applications.
Support testing processes and user training for SAP Pricing business process area.
Provide status updates to customers and TCS Management; coordinate offshore support and understand Agile methodologies.
Show strong understanding of object‑oriented programming and excellent troubleshooting and communication skills; lead teams as required.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience.
Proven experience with specialization in SAP logistics – Transport Management, configuration of transport management processes, organizational change management, and production system support.
Proven track record of setting up efficient back‑office systems for transportation customers.
Solid time‑management skills and multitasking ability.
Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management processes & modules, with a focus on transportation management.
Logistics experience, preferably in Transportation Planning and Execution.
Experience with SAP Transportation module and integration with other systems.
Education
Graduation (Bachelor’s degree) – preferred.”
MBA (optional).
Salary $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
