This opportunity is for a new college graduate interested in being an Operations Supervisor. The Emerge Program is a 6-month onboarding program to help new graduates get acquainted with their role.
The Operations Supervisor position is designed to give hands‑on logistics experience while working as an Operations Supervisor and gaining leadership skills necessary for personal, professional, and team growth.
Our new graduates will participate in a comprehensive 6-month onboarding program that will provide them with resources, shadowing, and support to be successful in their new careers.
Operations Supervisors act as frontline leadership within our distribution centers. The primary purpose of this role is to supervise a shift of hourly associates by providing leadership, motivation, training, and development to the team. Responsibilities
Demonstrate safety consciousness at all times and report safety questions/concerns.
Promote safety as a business value versus a priority through training, focus, and informing others about company safety practices and procedures.
Protect the accuracy, integrity, and salability of client inventory through adherence to standard operating procedures and meeting physical inventory and/or cycle count accuracy expectations.
Supervise and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity.
Complete all required documentation on inbound and outbound documents.
Maintain customer contact.
Ensure inbound and outbound shipments remain accurate and free of damage.
Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
Understand and use company’s warehouse management system and time keeping system.
Create and use metrics to manage operations.
Work in conjunction with the department manager to ensure assigned operation runs safely and efficiently.
Aid in the development of operational improvements and enhancements.
Handle all products according to customer and employer procedures.
Complete a weekly walk‑around report and maintain a clean working environment.
Communicate changes in extraordinary handling procedures to office personnel; complete warehouse worksheet.
Comply with all other procedures outlined in the Operations & Procedure Manual.
Communicate effectively with Transportation, Warehouse, Management, Co‑workers, and Customers.
Required Experience and Education
Current student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in Logistics, Engineering, or Business, graduating in December 2024 or May 2025. (Required)
Computer applications experience, including Microsoft Office applications, data entry, and web‑based applications.
Must be flexible on shift and open to relocation.
Capabilities

Use material handling equipment that must be operated according to specific operation procedures.
Spend 75% of time on warehouse floor in a fast‑paced environment.
