The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily store operations, aiming to maximize sales and profitability through merchandising, expense and inventory management, staff training, human resources, and customer service excellence. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee staff performance and ensure quality service. Ensure compliance with company policies. Lead and motivate the team to meet store goals. Assist in recruiting, training, and evaluating staff. Help manage expenses and develop strategies to meet budgets. Monitor store operations for shrink and loss prevention. Maintain safety and business standards. Train employees in selling and merchandising techniques. Uphold customer service standards for an outstanding shopping experience. Assist with inventory counts and other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year retail management experience. Skills and Knowledge: Strong business acumen and communication skills. Interpersonal skills with tact and diplomacy. Strategic thinking and organizational skills. Professionalism and discretion. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel between stores. Physical Requirements: Stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel. We offer a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. The role is full-time, with a maximum of 40 hours per week.
