Lead AI Industrialization for Verizon, providing technology leadership and driving discussions with Enterprise Architecture, Data Science, and Data Engineering teams. Serve as a subject matter expert on industry knowledge to improve systems and processes related to Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Responsible AI, Gen AI, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and other AI practices. Lead the charter to industrialize AI/ML model development, feature engineering, validation, deployment, and observability in real-time and batch setups. Research, design, and implement ML algorithms and tools. Consolidate and implement new concepts in areas like information retrieval, distributed computing, large-scale system design, networking, data storage, security, and AI practices. Set standards for datasets and data representation methods. Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks. Determine processes and standards for ML testing and experiments. Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain ML system software. Define strategy for ML/AI tools and processes, aligning with business needs. Partner with stakeholders across business units, architects, governance, legal, and security to define model governance and inventory tracking. Qualifications

You will need to have: Bachelor's degree or four+ years of relevant work experience. Strong experience with Spark/Hive/SQL, building and deploying large data pipelines. Proficiency in Python, Scala, SQL, PySpark, Kafka, scheduling tools, Jenkins. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their AI/ML services. Hands-on experience with model deployment, ML engineering, MLOps, and related tools. Preferred qualifications include: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience with modeling platforms like Domino, Jupyter, H2O.ai, DataRobot, Conda, ML Flow. Advanced programming skills in Python, Java, Git; familiarity with Spark, Flink, Jupyter. Knowledge of development lifecycle, DevOps automation, model monitoring, architecture. Ability to run workloads over multiple nodes. Knowledge of data administration, data ingestion tools like Logstash and Kafka. Deep understanding of data science concepts and practices. Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with work from home and a minimum of eight office days per month. Additional Info
