We also have one of the nation's largest kidney and pancreas transplant programs at The Joseph and Corinne Schwartz Division of Transplantation. From our National Cancer Institute-designated UM Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center to The University of Maryland's Children's Hospital, one of the largest pediatric centers in the state, we are dedicated to saving and transforming lives. Job Description Coordinates and supports Behavioral Health Care within local Primary Care and Specialty Care Outpatient practices. Coordinates referrals to clinically indicated services. Supports the treating provider by coordinating behavioral health treatment, proactive follow up, alerts the provider when additional treatment options are needed, supports medication management, and facilitates communication with psychiatric prescriber. Maintains billing and registry for all patients enrolled in the program and uses evidenced based, trauma informed, and measurement based care techniques aimed at complete recovery. Qualifications Education & Training: Currently licensed as LCPC, LCSW-C, or PsyD in the state of Maryland. Work Orientation: Minimum of five years of psychiatric clinical experience, including: Providing psychotherapy Screening for mental health and substance use disorders Brief, structured intervention techniques Evidenced based counseling techniques Working with persons that have co-morbid physical health disorders Skills & Abilities: Effectively communicate with health care providers as a team Effectively engage persons into a therapeutic relationship Working knowledge of differential diagnoses Basic knowledge of common psychopharmacology Flexibility to work within a variety of healthcare environments and with a variety of healthcare professionals Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
