The Corporate Development Analyst plays a key role in evaluating and executing strategic investments in dental practices across select U.S. markets. In this highly visible role, you’ll build and refine financial models, analyze performance trends, and shape the insights that drive Imagen’s investment strategy. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership—regularly preparing deal materials, participating in diligence discussions, and helping guide decisions presented to the Executive Team and Board of Directors. This is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact on the company’s growth trajectory while developing hands‑on experience across the full deal cycle.
Responsibilities
Develops and owns robust financial and valuation models for potential partner practices, incorporating performance trends, pro forma scenarios, and long‑term forecasting.
Generates key investment metrics—including Adjusted EBITDA, valuation ranges, and transaction recommendations—used directly in executive decision‑making.
Partners with senior leaders to prepare investment memos, Board materials, and presentations that articulate deal rationale and financial impact.
Coordinates cross‑functional diligence workstreams, ensuring that financial, operational, and legal insights are incorporated into the investment case.
Supports strategic analyses and special projects that influence Imagen’s growth and acquisition strategy.
Performs additional deal‑related responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
2-4 years of professional experience, preferably in corporate finance, public accounting, investment banking, or management consulting role
Must possess intellectual curiosity and a desire to work in a fast‑paced, meritocratic organization
Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data manipulation, with the ability to translate outputs into polished PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership.
Strong quantitative acumen with a firm understanding of financial modeling and related analysis
Ability to navigate and document findings and issues within financial statements and due diligence responses
Good knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements
Strong financial analysis, modeling, and presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to demonstrate clear, concise articulation of proposed actions, illustrating opportunity, risks, and alternative options
Self‑starter, highly motivated, and prepared to undertake all projects with a sense of urgency and work in a self‑directed manner
