Role Overview The Project Manager (PM) serves as a main point of contact and representative for all project stakeholders, overseeing the project lifecycle including budget, schedule, risk, resource management, and safety, while delivering exceptional customer service. The PM also plays a key role in business development activities.
Essential Functions
Support proposal and preconstruction processes.
Collaborate with estimating and purchasing during procurement.
Review drawings and budgets for constructability.
Manage project team staffing and requirements.
Lead project meetings and coordinate with field staff.
Oversee project financials, including cost reporting and invoice approval.
Forecast budgets and manage change orders.
Represent the company with clients, architects, and vendors.
Mentor and evaluate team members.
Manage project controls, including RFIs and submittals.
Coordinate material delivery and project closeout.
Ensure safety and quality standards are met.
Assist in project pursuit activities.
Identify and manage profit opportunities.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture preferred.
Minimum 5 years' experience in project management within construction.
OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 certifications preferred.
Proficiency in cost management, scheduling, and construction management software preferred.
