PAY RANGE: $101,857.60 - $520,000.00 SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: FTE: 10% JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the OMP Chief Physician Officer, the Clinical Director-Behavioral Health is the administrative physician charged with the direction of the clinics and/or departments within their area of specialty and/or responsibility. The Clinical Director-Behavioral Health provides administrative supervision and directs the clinical supervision of the Physicians, Advanced Practice Clinicians, and licensed Behavioral Health Care Managers (LICSWs and LICSW-As) in the area of responsibility, and works closely with the OMP Chief Physician Officer to set and maintain the clinical and strategic direction of the clinics and services. They also work closely with the assigned OMP Manager for those clinics in ensuring patient access, provider and BHCM accountability, quality care and improvement, appropriate evidence-based protocols, and workflows. The Clinical Director-Behavioral Health works with OMP Administration on the recruitment and retention of the Physician, APC, and BCHM workforce. The Clinical Director-Behavioral Health works with the OMC Quality Support Services and Patient Experience departments to provide review of events in the OMC Event Response System. The Clinical Director-Behavioral Health position is designed as a 0.1 FTE carve out position from an existing or new clinical position, but the exact time needed for completion of tasks will be determined by the Chief Physician Officer. EDUCATION: MD or DO required. EXPERIENCE: Two or more years experience as Clinical Director or equivalent position preferred. Identifiable management experience to include planning, financial accountability, employee relations, and quality improvement activities preferred. The Clinical Director must be an employed, full-time physician in the area of responsibility. Two or more years experience practicing in psychiatry-primary care integrated practice (Collaborative Care model) preferred. LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS: MD or DO required. Current Washington State Medical License required. Current certification by a board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties or American Osteopathic Association required. Maintains current DEA registration. Has completed or agrees to complete within 24 months of assuming Clinical Directorship, the Washington State Medical Association Physician Leadership Course (or mutually agreeable equivalent).
