Team Physician - Associate Medical Director Responsibilities
The Team Physician - Associate Medical Director partners with the interdisciplinary care team and leads in Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) meetings to ensure comprehensive care plans, anticipate patient needs, and meet all regulatory requirements.
Participates in in-person and virtual visits as appropriate, with documentation to ensure all patients access their benefits.
Engages in a Call Coverage Rotation to address unanticipated needs during IDG meetings and to serve newly admitted patients.
Acts as a leader within the Care Team, promoting learning initiatives about end-of-life issues with the interdisciplinary team and the community.
Qualifications
Team Physician Qualifications:
Maintains an active license and DEA registration in the state where care is provided.
