As we expand rapidly, we need great people to join our team. The Associate Market Clinical Director supervises, manages performance, and trains Clinical Directors within their assigned market. They are responsible for center performance, P&L, growth, and culture. They oversee clinical outcomes and spend part of their time providing direct patient care as a PCP or in other clinical roles, with the rest focused on leadership, including Clinical Director performance, engagement, and building clinical-operational synergy. Time allocation depends on market needs, center size, patient membership, and regional guidance. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage clinical outcomes and daily operations of Medical Directors across multiple centers, with regular presence on-site, reporting to the Regional President. Ensure successful clinical operations and achievement of market earnings targets. Mentor and coach Medical Directors to deliver excellent clinical outcomes. Develop talent among PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors through coaching, 1:1s, leadership development, and performance management. Foster a physician culture aligned with ChenMed’s core model, values, behaviors, and service standards. Support training of new practitioners and participate in recruiting and interviewing candidates. Collaborate with Clinical COE and Talent Acquisition on hiring, mentoring, and leadership development. Build relationships with payers, specialists, community, hospitals, and support local social media presence. Monitor and promote a positive market culture, addressing workplace concerns promptly. Review/approve referrals and support market referral and utilization decisions. Additional duties may include: Supporting quality and performance initiatives. Overseeing scorecard reviews and clinical metric analysis. Providing training to other ChenMed entities. Developing relationships with providers and stakeholders. Driving clinical initiatives based on local market dynamics. Implementing cost reduction and clinical strategies. Delivering clinical care as a PCP (20%). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Strong customer focus, self-awareness, accountability, results-driven, talent development, engagement, and interpersonal skills. Excellent clinical skills and experience in managed care, outcomes, quality improvement, and chronic disease management. Analytical skills, relationship-building, conflict resolution, proficiency in Microsoft Office, EMR, and keyboarding skills. Ability to travel up to 30% locally, regionally, and nationally. Fluent in English, with sound judgment skills. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar. Minimum 2 years clinical experience, 3 preferred. Previous experience as Medical Director with Medicare/Medicaid patients preferred. Board eligibility required; board certification preferred. Active medical license in the state of employment. Proven clinical leadership, experience managing panels >400 patients, and familiarity with quality and performance improvement.
