The Associate Market Clinical Director will supervise, manage performance, and train Clinical Directors within their assigned market. They are accountable for center performance, P&L, growth, and culture. The role includes clinical duties as a PCP and leadership responsibilities, with time allocation depending on market needs and other factors. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

Manage clinical outcomes and oversee Medical Directors across multiple centers, maintaining regular presence and reporting to the Regional President. Ensure successful clinical operations and meet/exceed market earnings goals. Mentor and coach Medical Directors and PCPs to deliver outstanding clinical outcomes. Support talent development, including recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development. Foster a physician culture aligned with ChenMed’s core values and standards. Assist in training new practitioners and participate in recruitment efforts. Build relationships with payers, specialists, community partners, and hospitals, including managing local social media presence. Monitor market culture and respond to workplace concerns promptly. Review referrals and support market utilization management. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical metric analysis, and cost strategies. Deliver clinical care as a PCP approximately 20% of the time. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Regional President. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong customer focus, self-awareness, accountability, results-driven, talent development, engagement creation, and interpersonal skills. Excellent clinical skills and experience within managed care systems. Knowledge of clinical outcomes, quality improvement, population risk management, and chronic disease care. Ability to analyze data, build external relationships, manage conflicts, and proficient with Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Willingness to travel up to 30% locally, regionally, and nationally. Fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Education and Experience

MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or similar. Minimum 2 years clinical experience; 3 preferred. Experience as Medical Director with Medicare/Medicaid patients preferred. Board eligibility required; certification preferred. Active medical license in the state of employment. Proven leadership in clinical settings, preferably within ChenMed or similar models.
