Manages clinical activities, priorities, and staffing for pharmacists. Communicates effectively with pharmacy management about issues and suggestions. Develops clinical initiatives, manages drug shortages, and communicates with medical staff and stakeholders. Assists with budget and financial activities related to high-cost drugs. Supports administrative goals alongside the Director and AVP of Pharmacy. BENEFITS

Required PGY1 and PGY2 residencies from an ASHP-accredited program, or 5 years of clinical practice with PGY1, or 8 years of clinical practice within a specialty Bachelor's or PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited school Experience 5 years of clinical practice within a specialty with PGY1, or 8 years within a specialty Computer skills, data entry experience, proficiency in English Good health, stress coping ability, ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs. Licenses and Certifications BLS certification (American Heart Association or ARC) Eligible for Texas pharmacy technician licensure upon hire, with licensure within 30 days ACLS certification for inpatient positions within 6 months JOB DUTIES
Perform responsibilities adhering to policies, performance, and environmental standards, ensuring compliance with JCAHO and regulations Coordinate staff training, assist with clinical monitoring, and develop process improvements Promote pharmacy services, participate in multidisciplinary meetings, and mentor staff Manage medication orders, review for safety and appropriateness, and document interventions Engage in personal development, participate in training, and contribute to education programs Support formulary management, cost-effective pharmaceutical selection, and P&T initiatives Maintain patient confidentiality, demonstrate professionalism, and adapt to changes Support teamwork, safety, infection control, and compliance policies Perform other duties as assigned SECURITY AND EEO STATEMENT
