AZAD is seeking a Dietetic Technician for a W2 Contract position in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration:
The initial assignment length is 13 weeks with a high probability of being extended.
Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $18.00 - $21.00. Benefits offered include Paid Time Off, Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.
Essential Functions: A Dietetic Technician works under the supervision of a registered dietitian (RD) to assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring nutrition programs. They play a critical role in promoting healthy eating habits, educating clients, and ensuring compliance with nutritional plans. Dietetic Technicians may work in healthcare facilities, schools, community organizations, or food service settings. Assist in assessing clients' nutritional needs based on dietary history, health conditions, and goals. Develop, implement, and modify meal plans under the guidance of an RD. Educate clients and patients on proper nutrition, food selection, and portion control. Monitor clients' progress and report changes to the supervising dietitian. Conduct food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and ensuring compliance with dietary regulations and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of patient information, meal plans, and progress reports. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide nutrition support in clinical or community settings. Stay updated on nutrition science and guidelines to provide evidence-based recommendations. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Dietetic Technology, Nutrition, or a related field (or completion of an accredited Dietetic Technician program). Credentialing as a Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR). Knowledge of basic nutrition principles, food safety regulations, and dietary guidelines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with clients and healthcare teams. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain detailed records.
