In this role, you will lead a pivotal business unit within our esteemed manufacturing organization. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping strategic direction, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving substantial growth. Salary:
$130,000 - $160,000 per year plus bonus Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Strategically direct the business unit aligning with the company's core objectives, driving operational excellence and impactful business growth. Manage complete ownership of Profit & Loss statements to enhance revenue growth, manage costs effectively, and secure profitability. Analyze industry trends and competitor strategies to pinpoint growth opportunities and lead innovative expansion of product offerings and market share. Supervise daily operations ensuring achievement of production targets, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Champion organizational compliance with all safety and environmental policies, promoting a culture of sustainability. Drive continuous improvement by implementing LEAN and other methodologies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and elevate product quality. Mentor and lead a diverse team, emphasizing accountability, innovation, and operational excellence, and provide substantial professional development opportunities. Act as the principal liaison for major customers, focusing on exceeding quality expectations and ensuring timely product delivery. Lead cross-departmental collaboration with finance, supply chain, engineering, and sales teams to maintain smooth operations and achieve general business objectives. Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Over 10 years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment with significant leadership roles. Expertise in financial performance management and P&L oversight. Demonstrated capability in strategic thinking and growth-driven operational management. Strong practical knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as LEAN. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or relevant advanced degree is highly desirable. Experience in custom manufacturing processes. Prior experience with scaling up business operations in a competitive market. Skills: Exceptional leadership and team development skills. Proficient in strategic planning and execution. Advanced problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Excellent communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships.
