with one of our California State clients. This role is responsible for website migration from

SharePoint

2016 to the

WordPress

platform, leveraging technical expertise to ensure the smooth transition of web services, maintaining system integrity and usability throughout the migration process. This person will also play a crucial role in training and supporting staff, thus ensuring sustainability and continuity

Qualifications Responsibilities:

Perform technical aspects of the

website migration from SharePoint 2016 to WordPress platform. Ensure technical solutions meet the requirements for increased

ADA

compliance and adherence to IT policies. Conduct technical evaluation, redesign, and consolidation of existing website content and functionality. Coordinate and conduct website data migration and testing. Provide technical training to website administrators and end-users. Serve as a liaison between technical teams, business owners, and the project manager to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives. Mandatory Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience with

website migrations and testing, particularly with platforms like SharePoint and WordPress. Proficiency in web technologies and understanding of

CMS architectures . Minimum 3 years of experience providing

Website Administrator

technical training. Minimum 3 years of experience providing end-user training. Must have 3 years of experience working with

government organizations

within the last 5 years. Experience with

ADA compliance and IT security policies. Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with website design. Experience with solution design. Experience with features management. Experience with site branding. Experience with navigation, user interface elements, and versioning. Experience with identifying lines of ownership, roles, and responsibilities for business owners, site owners, and technical teams. Experience with explaining the capabilities and design choices. Experience with establishing a Website Governance Committee. Experience with establishing objectives and rules appropriate for usage of websites. Experience with creating training plans and providing technical trainings and end-user trainings.
