We are seeking an

Accounting Associate - Client Onboarding

to join our Family Office. This individual will be a key team member responsible for daily client onboarding and accounting needs for a portfolio of assigned families and/or engagements. If you possess a strong foundation in general accounting, proficiency in leveraging technology for financial analysis and reporting, and excellent communication skills, we invite you to apply. Handle onboarding data, reconcile transactions, and assist with onboarding requirements. Serve as the primary contact for onboarding tasks, ensuring adherence to timelines. Assist or manage the onboarding process for new client relationships. Troubleshoot operational challenges, investigate root causes, and implement solutions. Set up asset tracking processes, including real property, collectibles, investments, and other assets, with relevant journal entries. Absorb information proactively and integrate knowledge into existing systems. Identify gaps, extrapolate missing details, and ensure comprehensive understanding. Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests. Maintain high attention to detail, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Use documentation tools to refine internal procedures and promote continuous improvement. Skills and Qualifications:

Associate degree in accounting or related field; Bachelor's preferred. 1-7 years of accounting and/or onboarding experience; client service experience preferred. Proactive problem-solving skills and a focus on efficiency. Commitment to accuracy, collaboration, and continuous learning. Ability to pose insightful questions and challenge concepts. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statement interpretation. Extensive reconciliation experience. Basic knowledge of asset classes, estate documents, and relevant software (e.g., QuickBooks, Salesforce, Bill.com, Sage). Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, SharePoint, OneNote, and Teams. Experience or knowledge of family offices and high-net-worth individuals is a plus.
