SCJ Alliance is seeking an experienced engineering project manager to join our Seattle transportation design team. You'll play a key role in planning and executing diverse, community-centered projects, from traffic analysis and lighting design to roadway planning and corridor development.

Independence and initiative are critical as project managers must move projects forward with minimal oversight. This position requires skills to facilitate project development and execution, coordinate effectively with stakeholders, and supervise technical staff. Project Types May Include Corridor planning and design Highway and arterial improvements Roundabouts and urban revitalization City-wide transportation and transit plans Project Management controls As a senior-level transportation engineer and project manager, you'll:
Lead impactful projects
- from highway design to downtown revitalization, transit planning, and roundabouts. Build lasting client relationships
- setting expectations, facilitating meetings, and being the face of SCJ on key projects Drive business development
- identify new opportunities, pursue proposals, and represent SCJ in interviews Mentor and manage
- guide project staff and junior project managers, supporting technical growth and quality control Oversee project delivery
- manage scopes, budgets, and schedules; lead teams; and ensure QA/QC best practices
What you bring A PE license and a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. 15+ years of progressively responsible transportation engineering experience.
