Manages clinical activities, priorities, and problems, pharmacist staffing and workloads. Provides status reports to pharmacy management, effectively communicating issues, concerns, and suggestions. Manages and develops clinical initiatives, determines therapeutic alternatives during drug shortages, and communicates with medical staff leadership and stakeholders. Assists with budget preparation and daily financial activities related to high-cost drugs. Supports the Director and Assistant Vice President of Pharmacy in meeting administrative goals. Benefits

PGY1 and PGY2 residencies from an ASHP-accredited program, with 5 years of clinical practice experience, or 8 years of clinical practice within a specialty. Bachelor's or PharmD degree from an ACPE-accredited school. Licenses and Certifications
BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross) Eligible for Texas State Board of Pharmacy licensure within 30 days of hire Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement processes to meet regulatory standards. Coordinate staff training, assist with therapeutic monitoring, and identify process improvements. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, promote pharmacy, and mentor staff. Manage formulary and participate in cost-saving initiatives. Perform accurate computer order entry and medication profile reviews. Engage in ongoing education and training activities. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to safety and compliance policies. Support teamwork, communicate effectively, and perform other duties as assigned. Additional Information
