Surgical Pathologist – MedStar Georgetown University Hospital
Location: Washington, D.C.
The Department of Pathology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is recruiting for a Staff Pathologist. MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is a 609-bed acute care academic medical center and part of MedStar Health, serving as a major tertiary care hospital for the metropolitan DC area.
Key responsibilities:
Provide general surgical pathology services.
Deliver specialty services.
Participate in teaching within the pathology residency program.
Qualifications:
Board Certified/Eligible in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, or in Anatomic Pathology alone.
Experience in Surgical Pathology or completion of a Surgical Pathology Fellowship is required.
Subspecialty Fellowship training in Thoracic, Head and Neck, or GYN Pathology is desirable.
Ability to work in a thirteen-member group.
