The Department of Pathology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is recruiting for a part‑time Neuropathologist. MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is a 609‑bed acute care academic medical center and part of MedStar Health, serving as a major tertiary care hospital for the Washington, DC area.
Responsibilities
Provide general surgical pathology services and specialty services for the neurology, neuro‑surgery, and oncology divisions.
Participate in teaching activities for the pathology residency program.
Collaborate with clinical teams on complex neurological cases.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Eligible in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, or Anatomic Pathology only.
Subspecialty Fellowship training in Neuropathology and Board Eligibility or Certification in Neuropathology required.
Minimum of 3 years of independent neuropathology experience preferred.
