Base pay range: $71,900 – $97,100 per year.
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate service delivery on an assigned account portfolio, achieving targets and impacting stakeholder results.
Act as the key contact for internal business partners and other stakeholders involved in the account.
Provide a differentiated customer service experience to servicing brokers through regular interactions.
Handle complex tasks or escalated issues including account review and analysis, policy issuance, rating preparation, billing, audit questions, and CRIT resolution.
Lead and support less experienced Underwriting Operations team members with direction, problem resolution, work distribution, training, and quality assurance as needed.
Develop strong relationships with key partners (Underwriters, Operations, Global Service Operations, IT).
Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards, maintaining account files and documentation.
Participate in projects as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience
Commercial account manager experience or prior relevant insurance industry experience; multi-line commercial P&C experience highly desired.
Demonstrated expertise in workers compensation, auto, general liability, property, umbrella, excess liability.
Strong customer service orientation with an ability to operationalize customer needs.
Self‑motivated, action‑oriented, able to manage competing demands.
Strong ability to develop and nurture relationships with key partners (Underwriters, Operations, Global Service Operations, IT).
Effective communication skills – written and verbal.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Smartsheet, ImageRight, and other insurance platforms desired (PolicyWriter, Policy Decisions).
Education
5+ years’ experience working in commercial lines insurance.
Bachelor’s degree; work experience may substitute for education requirement.
Insurance certification/designation a plus.
