Pay Range Base salary: $71,900.00/yr – $97,100.00/yr
Responsibilities
Direct and coordinate service delivery on assigned account portfolio and work to achieve targets within the job area.
Serve as the key point of contact for internal business partners and other stakeholders involved on the account.
Provide a differentiated customer service experience through regular interactions with servicing brokers.
Handle complex tasks or escalated issues, such as account review and analysis, policy issuance, rating preparation, billing, audit questions, and CRITs resolution.
Lead and mentor less experienced underwriting operations team members, providing direction, problem resolution, work distribution, training and/or quality assurance as needed.
Develop strong relationships with key partners (Underwriters, Operations, Global Service Operations, IT, etc.).
Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards and maintain account files and documentation.
Participate in projects as needed.
Desired Skills & Experience
Commercial account manager experience and/or prior relevant insurance industry experience (multi-line, admitted commercial P&C experience highly desired).
Demonstrated expertise in Workers Compensation, Auto, General Liability, Property, Umbrella, Excess Liability.
Strong customer service orientation with an ability to operationalize customer needs.
Self‑motivated, action‑oriented and able to manage competing demands.
Strong ability to develop and nurture relationships with key partners (Underwriters, Operations, Global Service Operations, IT, etc.).
Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced work environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable of insurance platforms such as Smartsheet, ImageRight, PolicyWriter, Policy Decisions, and other policy issuance platforms.
Education & Experience Requirements
5+ years of experience working in commercial lines insurance.
Bachelor’s degree (work experience may substitute for the educational requirement).
Insurance certification/designation is a plus.
