Job Description : The main role of a Fabrication Quality Lead is to supervise our quality specialists, perform visual inspection of parts using customer and industry standards, monitor and determine any deviations or defects, and reject parts with quality concerns to ensure the highest standards.

$20 - $26 /hour (starting pay based on experience) Job Type:

Fabrication Quality Lead Responsibilities
Inspect fabrication customer production parts referencing all specs, drawings, and customer representatives.
Create a checklist to inspect WIP parts.
Ensure products adhere to company and industry quality standards.
Record scrap and develop cost analysis.
Assist with inspection of incoming raw material (pre‑cuts, material grade, quantities ordered).
Read and understand engineered drawings.
Responsible for PPAP information and paperwork, including bubble drawings, PPAP spreadsheets, material certificates, verifying part dimensions, callouts, specs, and reports.
Assist with part deviations and non‑conformities.
Assist with creating processes and work instructions.
Collaborate with team members to improve current processes and develop solutions to problems.
Work independently with general supervision.
All other duties as assigned.
Fabrication Quality Lead Qualifications
Proficient in Excel.
Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Basic computer functions.
18 years of age or older.
Previous quality experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
